PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT FROM ANETH JUDICIAL DISTRICT

The Aneth Judicial District facility is closed Friday, November 4, 2022, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Court services will continue to be available during this time through email and/or telephone.

The preferred method of contact to the Aneth Judicial District Court at this time is email to anethcourt@navajo-nsn.gov. The Court may be reached by telephone at (928) 797-1402. The Court will not be accepting faxes during the closure. Documents left in the drop box will be received on Monday, November 7, 2022.
 
The Aneth Judicial District Court will continue to accept filings of Protection Orders for the Shiprock District Court through Friday, November 4, 2022, at 5 p.m.

The Aneth Judicial District will accept filings by U.S. mail and by email at the following
addresses:

To file by email, email documents as PDF files to: anethcourt@navajo-nsn.gov. Documents filed with the Court by email outside Court hours will be received the next Court day during normal Court hours (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Please make sure all documents are signed.
 
The Traditional Program Specialist with the Peacemaking Program at the Aneth Judicial District will be available by telephone during business hours at (928) 797-1371.

To pay any fine or fee, mail a money order payable to the “Navajo Nation” to: Aneth District Court, P.O. Box 320, Montezuma Creek, UT 84534. Include citation/court document and contact information. All fines or fees mailed will be processed as received on the postmarked date.
